On April 3, Poorna Prajna Public School welcomed nursery students on their first day to the school.
Our teachers and helpers play a crucial role in providing a nurturing environment for young children. Teachers play a vital role in not only educating but also taking care of the students, while helpers assist in ensuring that the children are comfortable and well-fed during their time at school.

Our teachers in a nursery classroom serve as primary caregivers for the children while they are away from their parents. It is essential for teachers to build trust and establish a secure attachment with the students to create a safe and comforting environment. By forming strong relationships with the children, teachers help them feel secure and supported in the classroom.

Parent’s day celebration Pre-primary ( 2019 – 2020 ) NURSERY
Parents day was celebrated on 19 November for the children of Nursery .The event begin with the lamp lightining and floral tribute to his holiness Swamiji followed by school prayer . Relating to the theme of sports , Children tapped their feet on dance, yoga ,aerobics and skit through which they mesmerized every one by their performances . Parents were overwhelmed to see their kids performing enthusiastically and also shared their words of appreciation. Grand finale concluded the whole event with 100 % participation .overall the function was a fun filled and a great success.

Parent’s day celebration pre- primary ( 2019 – 2020 ) K.G
Parents day was celebrated on 20 November 2019 for the KG classes with great zeal . The program started with the lamp lightining and floral to Swamiji followed by the School prayer . Children enthusiastically participated in different dances and skit which showed our rich Cultural Heritage . The theme of the event was Festivals and their importance . Principal sir addressed the gathering with admiration , appreciation and gratitude towards one and all present there.Parents were happy to see the talents of their wards. Grand finale showed the whole participation of class and concluded the whole event . Overall it was a wonderful show.

First Prize in Inter School Powerpoint Competition

In the Annual Inter-School Tech Fest 2019, hosted by St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi, Our Students Divyansh and Saanvi of Class V-C won the first prize in Junior Techies – Powerpoint Presentation Competition.

Assembly on Guruparv

A special assembly was presented by class V-D on 11th November ( Monday), on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The assembly commenced with a prayer. Students disseminated information about the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nank Dev Ji and inspired other to lead a life like him. A prabhat pheri was taken out and children ‘Chanted Shabads’ which created a religious fervor. The students were looking impressive as they were dressed up in kurta-pyjama / salwar suit. The celebrations & entire activity not only make everyone aware of Sikhism but also innate values of humbleness and brotherhood.

Show and Tell Activity

A Show and Tell Activity was organized for all sections of Class I on 26th July 2019 to strengthen the verbal skills and to foster public speaking competency of the young minds. All the students participated in this activity which helped them to build their self-confidence and self-esteem. It enabled them to improve their descriptive skills by communicating feelings, thoughts and emotions with words. The students were informed to bring their favorite toy or any object of their choice. They were excited to share their descriptive narration and waited eagerly for their turn to show and tell. Thus, this event helped our tiny tots to build their social, emotional and language skills. It was an interesting and a thrilling experience for the kids sharing their feelings with peers which provided fun and comfortable learning arena for everyone involved.

Visit to National Science Centre

A thing which fascinates students in science. The answer to questions like what, how and why fascinates a child’s mind. it so happened that our school had organised an educational trip to National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Class XI & XII Science students went to National Science Centre with Ms. Sunita Tokas, Ms. Priya Durga & Mr. Srikant Choubey and had got this wonderful opportunity. Entring the establishment one could taste the feelng of bling an ameteur scientist. At one end, students saw a moving globe and on another side they seen model’s explaining different procedures in Science (The fun with science activities). The show added a spark to this trip. The hologram show showed the new world , the 3D movie on dinosaur & a science show which was full of science based magic tricks. That’s how the centre succeeds , by fosturing and nurturing the thoughts of a young mind.

Special assembly…Class 5c

International Red Cross day is celebrated on 8th may every year to promote humanitarian actions.
The students of class V C presented a special assembly depicting their basic functions in unfortunate circumstances such as war situations and disasters. They threw some light on the originator “Henery dunant” and explained their workings through a small act.
Class VC shared information about their roles and functions. Students came dressed up as Red Cross society members and showcased their principles of being impartial, independent and neutral in the most explicit way. The event was conducted coherently and the message was conveyed congruously .
